Falstaff courts two ladies at the same time. The ladies find out about his advances on the other woman and plot to expose his advances and to humiliate him. The husband of one lady discovers that his wife might be unfaithful and goes to Falstaff to try to expose her. The craziness all comes to a a halt when Falstaff, who is not a small fellow, hides in a laundry basket and then chucked out the window into the river.
