Yesterday I took a class at the business development center at JCCC in advanced Access 2003. I actually found it interesting and useful. In fact, for most of my day at work today I played with the website stats reporting database that I had built over the course of the last 3 months. Time started flying by and before I knew it I was the only one left in the building. I left work a little after 6pm without taking a lunch, oops. We’ll see how well this keeps my attention tomorrow but today it kept my attention very well.

I don’t know how many of you know this but coming this summer I will be moving. I’m thinking of moving to Olathe so I don’t have to commute nearly as far to work every day. Getting out of Lawrence for once will be a nice change. Don’t get me wrong. I love Lawrence but I’m getting a tiny bit sick of the same things all the time. It might be time for a change.

I’m thinking of buying a little house and earning some equity. With the housing market in such a slump I really don’t see any great reason not to buy now. I can get a killer interest rate and get a great deal on a home at the same time. So for the next section of my life, every payment I make for housing won’t be completely thrown away.
